“I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember, and after high school started working in residential carpentry back in Ontario. Shortly after, I landed a job at the Great Lakes Frame Company where I was lucky to spend many months notching timber frames traditionally with a chisel and mallet.

I moved to Alberta in 2018, and have tried my best to pursue a life of adventure, curiosity, and creativity. From exploring open deserts and ocean swells, climbing mountains, and changing too many tires on the side of the road, I have come to find responsibility in protecting and preserving our wild places.

I continued working as a carpenter while living in Banff, and worked amongst a talented team of builders with John Dowson Construction in the mountains. I moved to Vancouver Island in 2022, and have recently completed the Fine Furniture Program at Camosun College.”
